Why there are adverts

Every VELNARO tool is free, requires no account and always will. Advertising is what pays for hosting, development and the exchange-rate data feed. We would rather run a modest number of well-placed adverts than charge for calculators or sell your data.

Where adverts appear

• Below the tool, after you have received your result
• Between content sections such as “How it works”, examples and FAQs
• In the sidebar on desktop, away from the inputs
• Never over a button, inside an input field, or beside a control where a stray click could land on an advert

Our placement standards

Adverts must not obscure the tool, must not shift the page in a way that causes mis-clicks (space is reserved for each slot), and must be clearly distinguishable from our own content. Every tool remains fully usable if adverts are blocked or fail to load.

We do not use misleading buttons, fake “download” prompts, deceptive navigation or auto-playing media. We do not create pages whose only purpose is to display advertising.

Ad personalisation

We use Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve personalised adverts based on your interests. You can control this in Google’s ad settings or opt out through industry programmes. VELNARO itself does not build advertising profiles and does not share the contents of your calculations with advertisers.

Editorial independence

Advertising never influences which tools we build, how a formula is implemented, or what a result says. Calculators are written to be mathematically correct, not commercially convenient.

Report an advert

If you see an advert on VELNARO that is misleading, intrusive, inappropriate or broken, please report it — include the page URL and a short description. We review every report and block categories that do not meet our standards.
